Before I ever wrote a single word for Leafyypanda, I spent three years working real weddings, first assisting a floral design studio, then freelancing with event stylists on everything from tiny backyard ceremonies to full 200-guest ballroom affairs.

That means I’ve seen the gap between the Pinterest photo and the reality up close. I know which décor ideas look effortless online and take a full day of setup in real life. I know what vendors wish brides asked before booking. I know how a beautiful floor plan on paper can fall apart the moment 150 chairs actually need to fit in a room.

I write the more logistics-minded, behind-the-scenes side of Leafyypanda: décor that actually holds up, venues worth considering, and the planning details nobody warns you about until it’s almost too late.

Becky brings the bride’s-eye view. I bring the “I’ve set this up at 6am before” view. Together, we’re trying to make sure your wedding looks as good in person as it does on your mood board.
